Connection & recording guide

1. Open https://roluxlabs.com on your Windows laptop in Chrome or Edge. Choose Windows camera or Connect other device.

2. Keep both devices on the same Wi-Fi. Create a pairing link, scan the QR code on your phone, and allow camera/microphone access. This hosted version uses public HTTPS: no local certificate installation is needed.

3. Keep the sender browser open, visible, and unlocked. The site exchanges connection messages over HTTPS; camera and microphone streams travel directly between your devices. No recordings are uploaded.

4. Choose your audio input and recording layout. Choose screen to share your desktop, then Start recording. Recordings save on the recording laptop.

Pairing is private to this browser and lasts up to 30 days. Clearing browser cookies or replacing pairing requires a new scan. Network isolation may prevent a direct connection. Zoom, external microphones, 4K, and 60 FPS depend on browser and device support.
